WHAT IS A MANDALA.

Mandala, Translate as "circle-circumference" or "completion" also a concentric diagram having spiritual and ritual significance in both Buddhism and Hinduism. The term is of Hindu origin and appears in the Rig Veda as the name of the sections of the work, but is also used in other Indian religions, particularly Buddhism.
In the Tibetan branch of Vajrayana Buddhism, mandalas have been developed into sand paintings. They are also a key part of anuttara yoga tantra meditation practices. In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of aspirants and adepts, as a spiritual teaching tool, for establishing a sacred space, and as an aid to meditation and trance induction.
According to David Fontana, " its symbolic nature can help one to access progressively deeper levels of the unconscious, ultimately assisting the meditator to experience a mystical sense of oneness with the ultimate unity from which the cosmos in all its manifold forms arises."

The psychoanalyst Carl Jung saw the Mandala as "a representation of the unconscious self, and believed his paintings of mandalas enabled him to identify emotional disorders and work towards wholeness in personality."
In common use, mandala has become a generic term for any plan, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically, a microcosm of the Universe from the human perspective.

For me it is simply combined geometric patterns arranged in Mathematical order and Ratios to form together a balanced and cohesive drawing in harmony that one like to look at and find his own balance and Harmony. After looking at my Mandala drawings for a longer period of time I found out that they helped me to relieve my stress and that they gave me more focus and Equilibrium. Coloring them is also a fun way to let your soul get out of the box and into the Materiel World. The colours that you will put into them will represent your feelings and emotions that are deep inside of you and it will be a relief just to let them go into those Mandala Drawings. Looking back at them you will find that depending on the state of mind you had the day you colored them, that now you probably would do them differently. And looking back is also like looking back at the photo album of your Soul from the past. So Mandalas can be many things and have many purpose, but the one thing that will determine what they really are for you is the way that YOU will look at them. For me they are truly a portal for my imagination.

Mandala, are also ART, and they can be fun to work with.

What I tried to do with my Mandala Drawings is to give the center as much importance as possible. Everything is life has a center, and a negative and a positive. In the Mandala Drawings there is also a Center and a Negative (Black) and a Positive (White) I started doing those Mandla design after I did over 100 Crop Circle Drawings. The geometric base forms of the Crop Circles inspired me to make my own design of Crop Circles and then I started to make Mandalas.

HERE IS SOME SAMPLE DRAWINGS that I did with the first three drawings.

Before and After.
